Each year, the Federal Scholarship Board by the Federal Ministry of Education of Nigeria offers the Bilateral Educational Agreement (BEA) Scholarship Awards for Undergraduate, Masters and PhD students to study in Russia, China, Cuba, Morocco, Algeria, Romania, Ukraine, Turkey, Egypt, Japan, Serbia, Mexico, Macedonia, e.t.c

The Lagos State Government offers both Local and Foreign scholarships to indigenes and residents.
Local Scholarship: This is for prospective students of Lagos State origin except otherwise directed by His Excellency. Students should be on full-time and not part-time studies in Nigerian tertiary institution.
Foreign Scholarship: This award is designed for students of Lagos State origin admitted for undergraduate or postgraduate programmes in recognized tertiary institutions outside Nigeria.

WAEC GCE 2017 Registration Announced
The West African Examinations Council, WAEC, has announced that the General Certificate Examination (GCE) registration for 2017 will commence on Friday 28th April, 2017.This was made known via the official twitter handle of the Council.
According to the information made available, “Candidates are expected to pay a registration fee of thirteen thousand, nine hundred fifty naira N13,950 at any of the approved bank or any accredited agents to obtain the registration pin and information VCD.“Normal registration period is from Friday April 28 to June 28. After obtaining registration pin, candidates should log on towww.waeconline.orgfor registration.“Candidates should also note that the registration procedure has been designed to accommodate biometric features that will be used for validation at the exam center.“Candidates who wish to register for the exam after the close of entries can be accommodated as ” walk-in-candidates” provided they register 24hours to the start of the paper(s) they intend to write. The “walk-in-candidates” fee is twenty five thousand naira, N25,000.”

NYSC Online Registration for 2017 Batch A Prospective Corps Members Begins
This is to inform all prospective corps members that the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) portal will be opened today for 2017 batch A online registration.Prospective corps members should ensure that they have a valid and functional e-mail addresses that they can access and Nigerian (GSM) telephone numbers with which to register.
How To Register For 2017 Batch A NYSC:Graduates are to visit the Nysc online portal via www.nysc.org.ng for online registration and biometricdata capture.They should upload a Passport photograph with the following specifications;– Ensure your face (eyes, nose, ears, mouth and jaw) is fully shown without bending.– Ensure the picture is centralized and fills the frame.– Ensure the Photo background is white or off-white with no shadow.NOTE:Only prospective corps members who want their call-up numbers sent to them through SMS and wish to PRINT their call-up letters on-line are expected to pay the sum of Three Thousand Naira (N3,000.00).Prospective Corps members who do not want to pay the N3,000.00 have the option of going to their schoolsto collect their call-up numbers and call-up letters.Closing Date:Registration portal will close on Monday, 15th May 2017. Prospective corps members who have problems related to mobilization should go to the nearest NYSC Secretariats, see the Deployment and Relocation officer and lodge their complaints between 20th April to 15th May, 2017.
